Mindful Professor Training Program
We’re thrilled to announce that the Fall 2025 schedule and registration for the Mindful Professor Training Program is now available! This program is rooted in cutting-edge research and practices and aims to offer participants a variety of tools to access ways to return to calm, be present with themselves and others, utilize mindful leadership skills, enhance teaching effectiveness, as well as learn what actions they can take to support students’ well-being.
Even more exciting: we have an article being published about our study of this training program in the American Journal of College Health soon, demonstrating its impact on faculty and course instructor well-being, confidence in and comfort with supporting the well-being of students, as well as efforts to promote conditions for well-being in the classroom. Participation will not only benefit individual well-being and teaching efficacy and students—it will also help us continue to bridge critical gaps in mindfulness practice and research in higher education.
Fall 2025 Program Dates: Wednesdays from 9:30 – 10:30 AM at Saunders Research Building (with free coffee at each session!)
• September 3rd, 10th, 17th, 24th
