Three Minute Thesis registration opens August 1
The 2024 Three Minute Thesis (3MT) final competition will take place during Meliora Weekend on Friday, September 27. An awards reception and University alumni mixer will immediately follow the event. 3MT is an opportunity for Rochester doctoral students to present their dissertation research findings to a general audience in three minutes with only one PowerPoint slide. The goal is for students to communicate their research to a non-specialist audience vividly and engagingly while emphasizing its key point.

Summer Yoga Classes
Continue or begin your yoga practice at the Goergen Athletic Center! Summer schedules are 6-7pm, Mondays and Thursdays, led by experienced teachers from Yoga Vibe until August 26th.
Open to all students and R-club members, yoga classes are offered twice per week with a variety of experienced instructors. No experience needed. Mats are provided. Register here or walk-in before class starts!

SfN Travel Grant 2024, Submit your abstract by August 16th
Proteintech is proud to support researchers by offering 2 x $1000 travel grants to attend the 2024 SfN annual meeting in our hometown of Chicago, IL. Each grant will cover up to $1,000 of expenses towards registration, airfare, and lodging expenses.
