University-Wide Recognition Program

The University of Rochester recently announced UR Stars, a University-wide recognition program, that makes recognition easier and more fun than ever, with a consistent, unified approach to recognition that enables us to show gratitude to everyone across our academic, research and clinical teams who make us ever better by living our shared values.

PhD students and postdocs are eligible to use the UR Stars program to recognize team members and receive recognition! Show your appreciation for others who make a difference day in and day out, and recognize people with e-cards on birthdays, holidays, and other important celebrations.

You can visit the HR website for UR Stars learning opportunities and resources, including:

UR Stars Recognition Champions: Your UR Stars Recognition Champion is available to answer questions and help you navigate the new platform, so don’t hesitate to reach out! SMD GEPA’s UR Stars Recognition Champion is Amber Rivera in myHub (amber_rivera@urmc.rochester.edu).
