Dr. Zelenka received his medical
degree Magna Cum Laude from
SUNY Upstate Medical University in
Syracuse, NY. He recently completed
his residency in Internal Medicine at
the University of Rochester School of
Medicine and Dentistry.

Dr. Zelenka received his medical

Dr. Zelenka believes that the most important role of a
physician is helping patients achieve their wellness goals.
He enjoys getting to know his patients and learning what is

obesity, digestive health and personalized medicine.
On a Personal Note
Dr. Zelenka enjoys camping and hiking with his wife. He also

I think when I was sent to the emergency room this past summer from an urgent care center for a suspected heart attack (turned out to be something else) my primary would have checked up on me, he didn't. Maybe he was busy, but I was used this sort of care from my previous doctor. Dr. Courtsal.

Dr. Zelenka takes plenty of time with me. I do not feel that I am being rushed through (unlike some other providers). He listens to my issues and offers his professional advice, but also will tell me when he is not appropriately qualified and will suggest another who is.

Dr. Zelenka is very personable. He Is focused, and clear in his communication, responsive to questions and comments. I like his philosophy to customize the treatment plan to the needs of the individual patient. He is an excellent caring doctor. He is incredibly well informed and up to date with health care issues. I feel well looked after in his care, and I am inspired to follow a healthier lifestyle.

The nurse who took my vitals prior to being seen by the dr. was excellent. I didn't get her name. Dr. Zelenka also went above and beyond to spend extra time answering my questions and discussing my care plan.

Hand hygiene! Dr. Zelenka wears gloves, always... so much that it seems he never changes them. He enters the room wearing gloves and applies hand sanitizer to the gloves. He does the same when he leaves the room. Does he never wash his hands or change gloves?!
