Do You Know How to Report a Missing, Lost, or Stolen Work Device?

It’s happened to the most careful among us. You were just using that laptop yesterday, but now you can’t find it anywhere.

Generally, our workplace-managed devices are tightly protected with leading-edge data security software in case they fall into the wrong hands. But it is still important to report it in case the device contains HIPAA-protected information. Tell your manager, contact the ISD Help Desk (585-275-3200), and contact DPS (585-275-3333) to file a report as soon as you believe a device is missing, lost, or stolen.
