Can you describe your thesis to a stranger in three minutes?

Perfect your pitch and can explain the value of their work to fellow researchers as well as to the public, policymakers and funding agencies during the Three Minute Thesis (3MT®). The 3MTcompetition represents an invaluable opportunity for students to sharpen their research focus, improve their presentation skills, while conveying the potential and impact of their work with a perfect pitch in just three minutes.   

Competition finalists will present on April 4, 2023, from 3:45–6 p.m.

Applications Open for Science Forward Symposium March 20-21, 2023

We are pleased to announce that applications are now open to attend Science Forward: Towards Inclusive Excellence in Academia, a two-day symposium to increase diversity, expand inclusion and uphold equity in basic science research at New York State’s academic research institutions. The Science Forward symposium will be held at Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory on March 20-21, 2023.
